Challenge 22 Sequatchie Limited Liability Statement

Wavier, Release and Hold Harmless Agreement

In consideration of permission granted by the VFW Post 5772 and American Legion Post 190 to allow your participation in the Challenge 22 walk/run/ride on September 27, 2025, I (together with my parent or guardian, if I am under the age of eighteen (18) or under legal disability) represent, covenant and agree, on behalf of myself and any others claiming any rights, under or through me, as follows:

1. I acknowledge that the walk/run/ride poses certain risks, and that injuries, illness, or other harm which arise during or a result from the Challenge 22 walk/run/ride to myself, my guests (including any minors), or any others.

2. I waive all claims against the VFW and American Legion, it’s officers, agents and members (the “Released Parties”) for any injuries, illness, damages, losses or claims, whether known and unknown, which arise during or result of the Challenge 22 walk/run/ride.

3. I agree to indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from all losses, liabilities, illness, damages, costs or expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and other suits related to or arising out of, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, of the Challenge 22 walk/run/ride.

4. I have carefully read and reviewed this Waiver, Release and Hold Harmless Agreement. I understand it fully and I execute it voluntarily.
